THE CHILDREN'S WORKSHOP FOUNDATION
The Children’s Workshop has been providing high-quality early education in historically underserved Rhode Island communities for over 32 years. In 2011, a group of TCW employees wanted to give back to the communities we serve and therefore created The Children’s Workshop Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
Early childhood education is a critical part of Rhode Island’s infrastructure – both in that it allows families to have a safe place for their children to thrive while they are at work, and because it serves to lay a solid social, emotional and academic foundation for our next generation. TCW is dedicated to improving the lives of children and families by helping them access needed resources, reliable care and quality education; while also providing professional development opportunities to our staff. Our hope is to foster communities where all families are strong, independent and empowered.
Every cent The Children’s Workshop Foundation raises allows us to continue fulfilling our mission and ultimately helps us make a difference in the lives of many young, deserving children!
Children, families, and our communities all depend on our continued investment in quality early childhood and development opportunities. Research shows that positive early experiences set the foundation for future learning, health, and behavior through adolescence and adulthood.
