| IN THE COMMUNITY |

The Children’s Workshop is actively engaged in the communities we serve.

Getting involved and helping others makes us happy!

OUR COMMUNITIES COME FIRST

Our programs and schools reflect the unique needs of the communities they are in and our teachers and staff spend many hours of their free time at community events, performing community service, and giving back to those that have helped us over the past twenty years.

COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS

The Children’s Workshop has collaborated with The American Cancer Society, Hasbro Children’s Hospital, The Ronald McDonald House of Providence, the Coins for Cures Program at Boston Children’s Hospital, Progresso Latino, The Salvation Army and other local organizations to help those in need in our communities.  Our employees and families volunteer their time, donate clothing, supplies, and funds – whatever we can do to give back to the people in our neighborhoods who have helped us grow the past 20+ years.

The Children’s Workshop has partnered with Rhode Island Mentoring Partnership to form a Mentoring Program of our own.  Our mentors range from TCW teachers, directors, and Home Office staff to friends from our communities. They spend one hour per week mentoring a child one-on-one in the local school systems.  Our first mentoring site was established in 2012 in the Central Falls School System!
