WELCOME!
Our friends call us TCW
The Children’s Workshop is a nonprofit organization that was formed by dedicated and experienced teaching professionals with a specific goal in mind: the growth, development, care, and education of infants and young children. For over 32 years, we have prided ourselves on providing children and their families from urban, low-income communities throughout Rhode Island, and surrounding towns, with high-quality care that emphasizes on early education.

Across 6 schools in Rhode Island, we help our students develop math and reading skills with age-appropriate materials, so they will have a head start in their education. Our main objective is to ensure excellent learning programs, dedicated caregivers, and classrooms that are safe, warm and inviting.

Two of our schools are currently NAEYC accredited and we are actively working on earning accreditation for all of our sites. We invite you to learn more about our programs and to become part of our TCW family “where learning is child’s play!”

My kids LOVE The Children's Workshop! They have a yoga instructor that teaches the kids different activities along with their day to day actions of learning through play!! I love the app that they share, where teachers post pictures of the kids throughout the day so I don't feel like I'm missing everything while I work. Those notifications brighten my day; and later when we talk about what they did that day, I can show them the pictures.

I love this place and what they stand for! My son's teachers have gone above and beyond what is expected of them to make him feel comfortable, regardless of the fact that he only attends a couple of times per week. I highly recommend The Children's Workshop to anyone looking for a safe and nurturing daycare provider. A++

My son has been here since he was an infant and he is now in the school age program. Whenever I need help or a parenting tip, the staff is always there to guide me in the right direction.

My son started in September at The Children's Workshop. He was only talking a little bit and teachers there were very helpful and patient with him. Now my little guy is talking and singing up a storm. The staff there are very friendly and nurturing to the children. My son loves it there. My daughter, who just turned 10, just started there as well in the school aged room and came home so excited because they have a hip hop dance class. I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. 5 stars isn't enough - they deserve 10 stars.
